If you haven't played, or heard of “The Sims” gaming franchise in the last 18 years, you may have been living under a rock. Or perhaps you just aren't into those types of video games. The first installment was created back in the year 2000 as a life simulation game. Based on multiple gaming platforms, we now have a version to play within the palm of our hands.

“The Sims Mobile” is a free to play version of the beloved “Sims” series. You will first be tasked with creating a Sim (one resembling yourself seems to be the popular way to go). In creating a Sim, you will find there are many facial features to edit, hairstyles, outfits and more. You can build a house for your Sim. Design your own personal living space or your dream home. And after all is said and done, the time comes to take control! Shape their life with hobbies, careers and even relationships. What your Sim can do and find is endless.

As a mobile game, playing and finding real friends online is of course a feature to explore. The only real difference “The Sims Mobile” has from its full-fledged purchasable counterpart is that like most mobile games, you have to wait for tasks to get done daily or use in-game currency to have tasks completed immediately. Premium clothing, furniture and building options are locked behind a paywall as well, but you can overlook those items and still see the wonderful game underneath.

“The Sims Mobile” is free to download on the Android and IOS stores.
