There’s been an awakening. Can you feel it? It must be the next Star Wars movie “The Last Jedi” brewing on the horizon. It’s time to get excited for it. What better way to boost that excitement than by offering you a weekly array of Star Wars games for you to mingle with. Hopefully, these will hold you over until the featured film hits the big screen.

So, venturing off into the galaxy far, far away, we have the game “Rogue One: Boots on the Ground.” This is a little adventure game made by Disney based on the movie “Rogue One.”

Forming a three-unit squad of characters from the movie such as Jyn Erso, K2SO, Cassian Andor and more, you visit planets from the movie and go on strike missions to help the rebel cause. The missions presented range anywhere from destroying a target facility to rescuing and extracting a crashed rebel pilot. Of course, you do all this with a bunch of pesky Stormtroopers in your way. Each character brings a unique ability to the cause. For example, Cassian Andor can call in an X-Wing Airstrike to take out a group of Stormtroopers. The game is extremely addicting and presents a challenge for those who like to think tactically.

Right now, there are only a few characters and missions to play, as they are still adding more to the game, but what it has to offer wastes time nonetheless! “Rogue One: Boots on the Ground” is free to play on Find it under “Star Wars Games.”
