Weekly Time Waster - 'Helix Jump'

In this week’s Time Waster, we take a peek at a game that is so simple and relaxing, you’ll forget what a challenging game even looks like.

“Helix Jump” is the true definition of a simple game. You have a paintball, and a tower. You must get the ball from the top of the tower, all the way to the bottom. To do this, you have to jump the ball through open slots on each tier of the tower, but you must do so by only touching certain colors. Bad colors on each level are called “danger zones.” The tower can be rotated and because of this manipulation, you have complete control over what open spaces in each tier to jump through and are able to avoid the “danger zones”. When you get to the bottom of the tower, you win the level. That’s it!

There is nothing else really to this game. Of course, there are multiple levels and each level gets slightly harder than the last, presenting smaller areas you can jump around on with each tier of the tower. As you play each level, you accumulate a score; you can boost your score by jumping through multiple tiers of the tower at once. Be careful though, as you can obviously land on a “danger zone” and lose the level.

“Helix Jump” is so simple, you’ll be finished with it before realizing the amount of time you might have wasted on it. This game is free to download on the Android and IOS stores.
