BANGOR The Challenger Learning Center has some fun ways kids can learn to code. Learn to code by:

*helping Elsa and Anna create ice patterns and snowflakes;

*taking Steve on a 'Minecraft' adventure;

* Or programming droids in a galaxy far, far away!

The Challenger Hour of Code is from 6 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 9. Anyone can learn computer programming, from ages 4 to 104.

Bring your wireless laptop or tablet and join in the global movement to learn computer science! Learn how to program JAVA script with easy tutorials [games] and fun themes, such as 'Frozen,' 'Minecraft' or Star Wars. No prior experience is needed. Anyone can learn - open to all ages.

If you don't own a laptop, you may use one of the laptops at Challenger, but availability is limited to first come, first served.
