He started 'The Biggest Loser' as this season's heaviest contestant, and at 462 pounds 'American Idol' winner Ruben Studdard had his sights set on winning this reality show too. But that dream fell short after Studdard's team had the lowest percentage of combined weight loss of the three teams on the ranch. Studdard lost five pounds last week to contribute to his team's total, but it wasn't enough. The larger than life R&B singer fell below the scale's dreaded yellow line and was automatically eliminated from the show. He is the first member of the red team and the second contestant this season to exit the game. I recently had the chance to speak with Studdard by phone about his time on the ranch, his workouts and whether or not he's been able to conquer his diabetes.
