ELLSWORTH The Grand continues its fine tradition of live community theater with its new production of an exciting play from Aaron Sorkin: 'The Farnsworth Invention.' The play runs for just one weekend, June 3rd through June 5, 2016. Tickets are on sale now at the box office, by phone, or online at grandonline.org. Ticket prices for reserved seating are $18 for adults, $15 for Grand members and $12 for students (15 and under).

BANGOR - Robinson Ballet Executive Director Stevie McGary and Robinson Ballet Board President Matthew Skaves have announced that Artistic Directors Keith and Maureen Robinson will be retiring at the end of the 2015-16 season. Their final performance was on Sunday, May 22 following the finale of the children's matinee 'Aladdin.'

Until very recently, Bangor Community Theatre, established in 1951, had been homeless, with nowhere to perform. Seeking a stage to continue the tradition of community theater in the greater Bangor area, BCT approached the Bangor Grangers to rent their stage for their production of 'Who's On First, A Nightmare Comedy' last October. The Bangor Grangers welcomed BCT with open arms and the relationship has flourished. Several of BCT's board members have since joined the Grange and the organizations are now teaming up to serve many different areas in our community.
