More Maine Communities Earn Business-Friendly Recognition
AUGUSTA -Governor Paul R. LePage and the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) announce that the City of Eastport and the Towns of Fryeburg and Wiscasset have recently been designated 'Certified Business-Friendly.' With the addition of these three communities, a total of 34 cities and towns across Maine have been recognized over the last four years.
Seven Maine Communities Earn Grant Awards
AUGUSTA - The Maine Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) is announcing that seven towns from Lubec to Lisbon have been awarded funding under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program administered by the Office of Community Development within DECD. The latest round includes funding from the Micro-Enterprise Assistance grant program.
