BANGOR - Penobscot Theatre Company is proud to present the world premiere production of Travis G. Baker's newest comedy, 'Hair Frenzy,' directed by Dominick Varney. The story is an outgrowth of Baker's inaugural work, 'One Blue Tarp,' which the company premiered to rave reviews in 2012. Previews start Jan. 28, 2016, and the show will run through Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, at the historic Bangor Opera House.

'Hair Frenzy' takes audiences back to the fictional burg of Clara, Maine, where 'One Blue Tarp' memorably unfolded, to meet Tina, salon owner and stylist, along with the colorful characters who populate her world. Life is manageable if a bit mundane until Tina's old-friend-turned-Hollywood-superstar Toryn Bennoch returns to Clara with a hair crisis and a life-changing offer. Worlds collide and scissors fly as the diva whips everyone into a frenzy!
