Kibbles and Picks 2020 – Divisional Round
Well then. That didn’t go well for anybody, now did it?
Despite our shared regular season excellence, Stella and I both managed to lay a pretty significant egg during the Wild Card round. Of the four games I picked, I got exactly one right – Seattle over Philly. Of course, Stella also got exactly one right – Houston over Buffalo. The two predictions we shared – New England over Tennessee and New Orleans over Minnesota – were both sadly, heartbreakingly wrong.
Kibbles and Picks – Divisional Round 2018
Not going to lie – I feel a little better.
Sure, I suffered predictive indignity at the adorable little paws of my dog Stella yet again this NFL season. It’s not like I’m not used to it by now.
But things like this past Wild Card weekend certainly do buoy my spirits and let me feel – even if for a moment – that maybe my dog isn’t actually smarter than I am.
Kibbles and Picks 2015/2016 Divisional Round
You know, I really thought that once we made into the playoffs, the fact that I had at least some knowledge about the participating teams would make a difference. And yet, here we are.
Stella came out on top this Wild Card weekend, going 3-1. Her sole blemish was admittedly a big one she was on the wrong end of the Chiefs blowout win over the Texans. However, she correctly predicted the continuation of the Bengals postseason woes against the Steelers. And as for the Seattle/Minnesota tilt, well I felt pretty good until Blair Walsh. Laces out, Jeff!
