In the craft beer world, flavor fads seem to come and go with relative frequency. We have seen the rise and fall of blueberry beers, pumpkin beers (although those still maintain a certain popularity), black IPAs and more. For every year, there is a style of beer that seems to catch on and “go viral.”

Christmas is creeping up - and the time available for gift purchasing is growing ever smaller. If you are like me, you haven’t even started yet, so let’s just get right to it. What should you get the beer lover in your life? I have a few ideas.

Recently, I was fortunate enough to set sail on a fantastic Caribbean cruise aboard Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas. The boat was amazing, the trip was wonderful and the weather could not have been more perfect.

This being said, I did have one complaint about the trip - and I am now going to rant about it in the form of a letter.

Three Pint Stance: Nitro beer - it's a gas!

It's getting to be the time of year where I tend to look less for a crisp, refreshing beer and more for a smooth, rich, satisfying brew. In my salad days of beer drinking, I would commonly reach for Guinness, Boddingtons and even the occasional can of Old Speckled Hen to satisfy this itch. Three Pint Stance - Beer, weak

As you may have heard, Greater Bangor Beer Week is right around the corner (or currently happening, depending on when you read this). I get it.

(Editor's note: Deal with it.)
