Maine soldier runs to aid wounded warriors

DOVER-FOXCROFT - Tysen Ober of Dover-Foxcroft is a Maine Army National Guard soldier who loves to run. The 23-year-old recently returned from deployment in Kuwait and decided to take the next several months to run all over America. His goal is to travel from Los Angeles, California to Lubec, Maine and raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project each step of the way.

"I was running one day in Kuwait and thinking there's a lot of the U.S. I haven't seen. I figured if I could make Kuwait pretty in my mind, why not take in the U.S.?" he said.
