Blank Canvas changing locations

Blank Canvas Brewery in Brewer just served its last beers at 71 Center Street; they will be closing down for a little over a month to relocate to 46 Betton Street, also in Brewer.

The move comes with a few headaches for Owner/Head Brewer Stephen Genthner, but the new space also offers new opportunities. According to Genthner, they hope to be reopened in the new space by the end of June or the beginning of July. They will be making a grand-re-opening announcement on their Facebook page very soon, so keep an eye out!

What's in my glass?

Brewery: Sebago Brewing Company

Beer: Whistle Punk DIPA

ABV: 8.2%

IBU: 92

Sebago's entry into the ever-expanding double IPA in a 16 oz. can category, Whistle Punk is a fantastic representation of the style and has a very attractive price point to boot. Whistle Punk pours a fantastic orange color with a fluffy white head on top. The nose is loaded with tropical hop aromas and the flavor is dominated by juicy grapefruit flavors. At 8.2%, this beer is dangerously refreshing. Make sure to get the burgers on and off the grill before you dig into your second can of this stuff!
