BUCKSPORT Artist Lyndsey Marston of 3 Legged Dog Ink will be joining The Good Kettle in supporting Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust (GPMCT) as part of a monthly The Good Kettle Does Good event. Each month, owner Gay Dion hosts a wine tasting featuring a local artist, and donates a portion of the proceeds to a local non-profit organization. 3 Legged Dog Ink, along with GPMCT, will be featured on Thursday, Dec. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Marston's artwork is inspired by her life in Maine, and often features wildflowers, vegetables and animals. Her drawings highlight simple lines and forms with striking bursts of color. Original drawings as well as prints and greeting cards will be on display on Dec. 17. Marston's artwork can also be viewed at www.3leggeddogink.com and purchased at www.3leggeddogink.etsy.com.

GPMCT works to conserve land, water and wildlife habitat in the greater Bucksport area and the Great Pond Mountain Wildlands in Orland. To learn more about their mission, events and trails, visit greatpondtrust.org.

The Good Kettle is located at 247 US Route 1 in Stockton Springs. They offer home style carry out, fine wine, and local products and will even create a customized menu for your next catered event! Stop by Monday through Saturday from 8:30 to 4 p.m.

3 Legged Dog Ink and The Good Kettle have partnered before at the Bucksport Arts Festival this past August. Marston organized the event and The Good Kettle was one of three food vendors. The Second Annual Bucksport Arts Festival is set for Aug. 13, 2016.
