Simple suggestions

Sometimes just one simple new accessory can change the whole look. The same goes with your hair. Here are a few suggestions you can try that apply only to how you style your hair without a new cut or color. If you are not confident executing these ideas, just ask your stylist next time you see them to give you some of their tips.

SLICK

This look was all over the spring runway and is sure to make its appearance this year. Hair pulled away from your face is going to expose more of your face and can really give you a much more youthful, fresh look. Long or short, you can give this a try using a good product like gel to help hold it.

CENTER PART

This is also something I am seeing much more of lately, and it too was all over the runway. It is always a good idea to switch up your part once in a while, and this is an easy way to change your look. If the center seems too severe for you, just try a more "natural" part somewhere closer to the center.

Wraps

The new accessory this spring is a head wrap. Think of it as this year's headband. It graced all the runways for spring and shows up in the new movie 'The Great Gatsby.' This is a great go-to for days you just don't feel like doing your hair or when you are running behind. I also think this a perfect, casual beach day look.

I hope you will try one of these looks this season. Just try something new and different the next time you do your hair. I always welcome questions and comments.
