Don't do that!

Holiday season is fast approaching whether we want it to our not. I just love this time of year, the sounds, smells and traditions it brings. I know that for many of us it also adds some stress to our daily lives with so many things that you have to do over the next few weeks. There is a lot you have to do and there is a lot that you should do during this time of year. I want to cover three things NOT to do in upcoming weeks.

DON'T: Don't forget to schedule yourself in by booking time with your hairdresser. You need to look and feel your best through the holidays. Our hair can make or break us ladies and we know how judgmental family can be, don't we? Make sure you wow them by freshening up your hair with a cut and some fresh shiny beautiful color. If you haven't booked time with your hairdresser by now, make sure you do. They book up fast and far ahead this time of year, so plan ahead.

DON'T: Try to save money by taking matter into your own hands. This is not the time to try to cut and/or color your own hair. I find that during stressful times we think we can just cut time and money by doing it ourselves. Trust me, this never ends well. You end up spending more money to have it fixed and that is only if you can even get into a hairdresser this time of year. If money is tight, talk with your hairdresser about options, don't cancel and try it yourself.

DON'T forget to take advantage of the deals and specials that your salon has to offer during the holidays. This is the time of year they offer great prices on retail and more. Product companies offer package deals and gift sets that make your holiday gift shopping a breeze. This is also a time of year that product companies offer trial sizes in abundance. Stock up while you can on your favorites. They come in handy as stocking stuffers, travel sizes, gym bags and more.

There is so much you have to DO this time of year no matter what. I hope I took at bit of stress of by telling you things you DON'T have to do.
