So besides the decorations which include Santa and his reindeer, the dealership put its numerous Christmas lights to music. When visitors stop by and tune into 95.1 FM between 4 and 11 p.m. each evening, they are treated to a choreographed light show that is synced up to songs such as "Deck the Halls" and other holiday favorites.
"It's really been a team effort," said Matt Smith, marketing manager at Darling's. "We came up with the idea about a month ago, and since then we've been planning and programming the music and lights."
The Darling's staff plans to run the light show nightly until the New Year. Those who stop by between 4 p.m. and the close of business each night can get a free cup of coffee, hot chocolate, cookies or a warm roll with butter.
"We're hoping lots of our customers and friends will stop by to check it out and just enjoy
the holidays with us," said Smith.
