Eight teams to compete in pre-season high school hockey tournament

BANGOR The eighth annual Holiday Face-Off High School Hockey Tournament will take place on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 27-28 at Sawyer Arena in Bangor.

Sponsored by the John Bapst Hockey Boosters, this annual pre-season high school hockey gives fans a sneak peek of the 2015-2016 Class A and B hockey teams in Eastern Maine. The weekend of hockey features teams from Bangor (both Varsity and JV), Brewer, Camden Hills, Hampden, Houlton, John Bapst, Old Town/ Orono and Presque Isle. Games will be played on Friday starting at 6:10 p.m.

The games start at 7:30 a.m. and continue through 6 p.m. The complete game schedules will be posted at www.johnbapst.org.
