ELLSWORTH - The Grand announces the next in a series of high-definition simulcast performances from The National Theatre of London. Director Lyndsey Turner sets arguably Shakespeare's greatest work in a country that is arming itself for war, as its ruling family tears itself apart. Forced to avenge his father's death but paralyzed by the task ahead, Hamlet rages against the impossibility of his predicament, threatening both his sanity and the security of the state. Ciarn Hinds supports as Claudius in a production that was recently deemed the 'most in-demand production theatre production of all time' by Britain's Evening Standard.
