Oct. 30: 6th Annual Live Halloween Radio Broadcast 'Tales of Mystery and Imagination' by Edgar Allan Poe - The Premature Burial' presented by The New England School of Communication at Husson University Gracie Theatre at Husson University - 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Oct. 31: Penobscot Theatre presents 'Creating a Character,' a master acting class with visiting artist Mark Chambers, 10:30 a.m.-12 noon at the Bangor Opera House rehearsal space. $25; space is limited, for reservations call 942-6618.
Oct. 31: Historical tours of the Bangor Opera house, 1 and 2 p.m., led by Penobscot Theatre staff and volunteers. $10 per person.
Oct. 31: Downtown Bangor Partnership Halloween festivities; includes trick or treating at downtown businesses and costume parade in the afternoon, and adult activities at night.
