Create a holiday gift with the gift of your hands. Participants will learn how to transfer painted images onto paper using a non-toxic household item as a printing press. Gelatin provides an excellent surface for printmaking that is simple and provides for experimentation and unusual effects. This is a great class for art educators, emerging or established artists. Open to all levels of experience, you'll be printing immediately and discovering the many ways to make beautiful marks on paper. The workshop will wind down with a demonstration on how to 'pour' a gelatin plate so you can continue from home.

Paper, paints, stencils, and all the tools needed to participate will be provided, but if you have favorite supplies that you want to experiment with, please bring them. That could be paper, paints (water soluble), fun items that can make stamps, stencils, sponges, paint brushes, brayers anything your imagination wants to explore. Participants should bring a bag lunch and/or snacks.
