Bangor Ballet’s “Variety Paq” pays tribute to founding artistic director
Written by Wire ReportsBANGOR - When the dancers of Bangor Ballet take the stage May 13 at The Gracie Theatre and May 21 at the Center Theatre in Dover-Foxcroft, they will be honoring the legacy of the company’s Founding Artistic Director, Ivy Clear Forrest. Ms Forrest was Bangor Ballet’s teacher and choreographer from the company’s first season in 1994 until her retirement last year. As the company embarks on a nationwide search for its next artistic director, “Variety Paq” pays tribute to Ms. Forrest’s lasting contributions to Bangor Ballet.

The reading will be held on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rock & Art Shop in downtown Bangor, and is free and open to the public.
