KINGFIELD - Early bird tickets for the 14th annual Kingfield POPS featuring the Bangor Symphony Orchestra are available now at select locations in Franklin County. The POPS is a delightful mixture of music and magic that brings together family and friends, young and old, for a wonderful night of entertainment.

The Kingfield POPS will take place on June 25 at the Kennedy Farm and as always, Western Mountain Trashcan Band will welcome ticket holders to the venue.

The lineup for the 2016 POPS includes musicians from an array of genres including jazz, folk and country rock. Co-headlining and collaborating are the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, led by Grammy-award winning conductor Lucas Richman and nationally-touring The Mallett Brothers Band. Defying any one genre, The Mallett Brothers Band shakes country, rock and Americana together for a style that is theirs alone. Since 2009, the band has released four studio albums including the latest, Lights Along the River which was named 'Best Album of 2015' by Blue Collar Songwriting.

The Fogcutters, 19-piece big band with a different perspective on the classic big band will also perform. The Fogcutters' contemporary jazz has been influenced by musical masters of the past and present resulting in a distinctive sound and eclectic style that is anything but traditional. They'll be joined by Ghost of Paul Revere, a folk band that wows audiences with powerful three-part harmonies, energetic performances and a non-traditional way of interpreting traditional American music.

Thanks to the generous support of its sponsors, ticket prices have not increased since the inaugural event in 2003. Adult tickets are available for $20 through May 15 at the Tranten's Markets and Skowhegan Savings Banks in Kingfield and Farmington or online at As always, tickets for youth 17 and under are free.
