Bridget Matros has been an educator for 15 years, teaching at every level and in just about every setting, from preschool circle-time to computer literacy for the elderly. Her wide academic and experiential background includes a BA from Oberlin College in sociology and psychology, worldwide travel in international leadership organization Up With People, visual artistry in a range of media, acting, producing, singing, performance, developing informal learning programs and environments, and is now a published author and blogger.
The art camp, held at Waterfall Arts, 256 High Street, begins on Tuesday, Feb. 19 and runs from 9 a.m. to 12 noon; cost is $110 plus $10 materials fee. The class size is limited and partial scholarships are available to those in need with funds provided by United Mid Coast Charities.
