ELLSWORTH The Riverside Caf on Main Street in Ellsworth is hosting a Celtic Evening at the Riverside to benefit the Emmaus Shelter on March 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 plus tax and tips. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to Emmaus.
Attendees will get a choice of one of the following plus salad: Irish soda bread, tea, coffee, soda and Guinness Chocolate Cake or Irish Cream Cheese Cake for dessert.
Also featured will be all-you-can-eat traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner with carrots and potatoes; roasted lamb chop lollipops served over garlic mashed potatoes and carrots; seared wild-caught Sockeye salmon- topped with creamy leek sauce and served with steamed spinach and carrots.
There will be a cash bar and live music by the Big Moose Band.
