According to Tony Caruso, airport director, 'We are very pleased with American's announcement to start weekend summer service to LaGuardia. This service will be a great addition to the Bangor market giving our customers more choices to New York City, one of our top destinations.' Caruso went on to say that this service will be on a 50 seat CRJ200. The flights will depart New York at 8 a.m. arriving in Bangor at 9:45 a.m. Flights will depart BGR at 10:15 a.m. and arrive at LaGuardia at 11:50 a.m.
American Airlines also flies to Philadelphia and Washington, DC from Bangor International and is the airport's largest carrier, transporting more than 44 percent of BGR passengers annually.
Reservations for the new service can be made on American's website at www.aa.com or by contacting your local travel agent.
