BANGOR – Over the past weekend, the City of Bangor and Spectra Venue Management, managers of the Cross Insurance Center, welcomed Professional Bull Riders Inc. to the Cross Insurance Center for their 16th stop on the 2017 Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour and marked PBR’s second visit to the Queen City. Spectra staff at the Cross Insurance Center are proud and excited to announce that the two-day event sold out for the second year in a row to equal four consecutive sold-out PBR shows in Bangor.

Spectra’s Joe Imbriaco, General Manager of the Cross Insurance Center said, “Despite fighting temperatures in the single digits outside the crowd came in energized and ready to watch the ultimate man versus animal competition. It was a great weekend again and we congratulate our PBR partners and their fans on the success at the Bangor Buck Off.”

Nearly 10,000 fans filled the Cross Insurance Center to see over 35 of the best up and coming bull riders take on over 50 different 2,000-pound bulls for PBR’s sold out weekend in Bangor.  And before the action began, seventy tons of dirt was trucked in to transform the arena into a true bull riding atmosphere.

PBR’s David Cordovano, Senior Vice President of the Velocity Tour said, “Bangor has proven to be one of the best stops on our tour.  You just can’t find a better city and fan base and we are honored to be a part of the community when we are here. Our riders, staff and bulls look forward to coming back for many years to come.”
