“In the hospital I would see kids my age (14) and very young children undergo harsh treatments. The staff would do all they could to help us pass the time and distract us from it all,” said Falwell in a press release. “A child’s laughter is not hard to come by when they are full of energy and playing outside, but it is much harder to come by inside an oncology center. This is why we must do everything to help keep these kids' spirits high.”
Curva Ultra Lounge kindly offered their space as a venue for the show free of charge. Working on a tight budget, this donation is a great help for PRSSA. “I never expected it to go so well last year, I was blown away by the amount of support from the community and the NESCom A/V crew. I’m so glad we’re doing this again - and this year we have the opportunity to raise a lot more for EMMC,” said PRSSA’s V.P. Selma Basic.
