Ms. Jetta’s snow tires have been replaced with her summer shoes. The hats/mittens/scarves and winter coats have been packed away. The flower gardens have been planted. I’m ready for summer in Maine! You and I both know all too well how quickly the summer season flies by, so now is the time to make your plan to insure you get out there and enjoy all that Maine has to offer.

It’s time to make your annual Maine Summer Bucket List! Think of your Top 10 things you want to do this summer. If you have kids, engage them in the process. Write down your annual must–dos, but also add a few new things you have never done before.

Gallery hopping in Rockland followed by the famous lobster BLT at the Brass Compass - winner in the Bobby Flay Thowdown. ~ Jeni

Must canoe the Allegash. ~ Trump

Harpswell Festival! Friday Night Lights (in Brunswick)! Catch an Art Walk in Lewiston! Camping in Bar Harbor! ~Sarah

Love the festivals, Acadia national park, downtown concerts, eating lobsters outside! ~Monique

Ride the Pickle Bus in Rangeley and do the Saddleback Moose Tour. ~Chris

Lobster at Young's in Belfast, Folk Festival, fresh veggies from local farmer's markets and my secret guilty pleasure, FunTown USA in Saco. ~Jane

Blueberry Festival in Machias! ~Matthew

Backpack trip in Baxter. ~Jim

Sit on the rocks at Seawall and stare at the ocean . ~Laura

Last week at work I received a save the date card for an event in October. I will save the date, but between now and then I’m gonna make sure that I don’t work all summer and take some time to enjoy this place we are lucky enough to call home! Make your list, I’ll make mine - and maybe I’ll see you out there!
