BANGOR - Bangor Parks and Recreation has announced that the Beth Pancoe Municipal Aquatic Center & Dakin Pool opened for the season as of June 16.
Regular hours during the season are as follows: General swim times at both pools are Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Family swim time is offered at the Pancoe Aquatic Center Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dakin Pool family time is Tuesday thru Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m.
Admission into the Panoce Aquatic Center is $1for resident youth 16 years of age and younger and $2 for resident adults age 17 and older. Non-resident youth are $2 per person and non-resident adults are $4 per person. These fees also apply to the family swim time at Pancoe Aquatic Center. Season passes are also available at the Pancoe Aquatic Center for youth, adults and families. Fees vary depending upon the pass type and residency.
There is no admission charge at Dakin Pool.
Youth swimming lessons are also available at Pancoe Aquatic Center in four two week sessions with a variety of sessions and levels being offered.
Aqua Zumba is also being offered at both Dakin and Pancoe Pool for the entire summer from 5:10 to 5:55 p.m. Visit the website today for more details.
