Youth invited to examine clues at 4-H Science Saturday
BANGOR - University of Maine Cooperative Extension will host 4-H Science Saturday for 15 youth in grades 6-8 on Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at UMaine's J.F. Witter Teaching and Research Center at 160 University Farm Road in Old Town.
Dr. Anne Lichtenwalner and students in UMaine's Animal and Veterinary Science program will lead the program titled “Clues Written in Blood.” After a presentation, participants can examine animal blood samples with a microscope. After the program, participants will be invited to tour the university campus with Team Maine.
